Dungeons & Dragons in Azeroth

The official D&D: World of Warcraft book is our intended default after its November 17, 2026 release. Until then, check your campaign’s approved rules with its storyteller.

Exempt from the supplement limit
+1 approved supplement

Warcraft Heroes Handbook and other approved D&D supplements are options. Ask the storyteller before using homebrew. The book limit keeps character options manageable; it does not make every combination automatically approved.

Before creating a character

Confirm edition, starting level, approved books, campaign fit, and any homebrew with your storyteller. Ask which Heroes Handbook release is in use. Narrative connections may cross campaigns; levels, items, and mechanical benefits do not automatically transfer.

STORMWIND BY NIGHT

FATE

Characters are defined by aspects: dramatic truths, relationships, and troubles. Four Fate dice and a skill resolve uncertain actions; Fate points, compels, and consequences give choices lasting weight.

Stormwind by Night uses FATE for personal horror, hidden loyalties, and supernatural politics. Confirm character creation and campaign-specific rules with the storyteller.

Daggerheart

Daggerheart is another system used for selected character-driven Society stories. Its Hope and Fear dice support a collaborative fantasy adventure. Check the campaign listing and ask its storyteller about joining and approved character options.
